To encourage and promote the intelligent and selective breeding of purebred bulldogs and by doing all that is possible to bring qualities to perfection and encourage scientific research for the improvement of the breed.
Protect and advance interest in the breed by encouraging sportsmanlike competition at dog shows.
Educating the public generally as to the habits, characteristics, advantages, care, training, companionship and treatment of the bulldog.
Urging all members and all breeders to accept the standard of the breed as approved by the AKC as the only standard of excellence by which bulldogs shall be judged.
